At NAS, we envision a thriving, diverse community where students and teachers are united through trilingual education and global languages that foster cultural fluency. We strive to lead in innovation and technology by inspiring creativity, critical thinking, and specialized IT learning. Accreditation plays a fundamental role in supporting NAS in its journey to improvement and development, where our school will be identified as part of an active and highly collaborative community of more than 600 globally minded top universities around the world. It will aid our students to understand that they are offered high quality education which enables their transition to universities and colleges anywhere in the world. It also engages school leaders with the international education community. Throughout the process of self–evaluation and review, accreditation enhances the collaboration among stakeholder groups within our community. Being accredited, NAS will gain recognition for accomplishments and will attract qualified staff who will focus on student learning, well-being, and development of global citizenship. Moreover, provide a quality international education experience to students and parents.
Accreditations

 Why NAS?

The New American School is an independent international school approximately 4000 sqm. located in Farwaniya, Kuwait. We are a self-supporting, profit organization funded by tuition fees. Currently at NAS, we offer classes from Pre-K to Grade 12. We now host students and staff from over 15 different countries from around the world. We pride ourselves as a school with a student-centered learning philosophy, we aim to have small class sizes, with lower student-teacher ratio to provide a nurturing yet challenging learning environment.  

It is our aim to develop caring, inquiring, and responsible world citizens who are highly competent in English, German and Arabic as both local and global citizens. The staff and faculty work hard to promote critical thinking, inter-cultural understanding and respect through teaching and learning. The NAS faculty and staff is committed to establishing a collaborative and a caring learning community amongst children, teachers and parents. We strive to continually implement, assess, and reflect on academic and creative excellence progress, embrace healthy and responsible behavior, and value independence and lifelong learning.
